“At AS Trenčín, we are constantly looking for innovative ways to improve player development. Implementing SIMUST within our youth academy has added an important cognitive dimension to our training methodology.

We have seen how the system helps players improve their scanning behaviour, situational awareness and decision-making under pressure. These are qualities that are becoming increasingly important in modern football.

SIMUST complements our regular field training perfectly. It is not a replacement for football training, but a valuable hybrid training solution that prepares players cognitively before they apply those skills on the pitch.

We are pleased with the implementation of SIMUST at our academy and believe cognitive development will continue to play an increasingly important role in developing the footballers of tomorrow.”

FEATURED CLUB STORY

AS TRENČÍN

From one youth team
to a wider club environment.

AS Trenčín began by testing SIMUST with its U15 group. Following the initial six-month period, the club expanded its use. SIMUST is now integrated as hybrid training across both the first team and youth academy.

IMPLEMENTATION

The environment in action.

The T-12 environment connects visual information to football movement. Players must scan, perceive, decide and execute while the next situation is already developing.

SIMUST EDITORIAL PERSPECTIVE

Development is seen from more than one position.

These are contextual views from SIMUST—not direct quotations. Technology is only meaningful when coaches can connect it to football and players can connect it to action.
